Mandarin for Munchkins Center Class Terms and Conditions

Effective March 2011

Payment of Fees:

Tuition fees are charged on a term-by-term basis, payable before the first day of the two months. Please make out cheques to "Yifan Mandarin Ltd".
Students may choose to pay with a single visit fee if they can not attend the full term class; however, space priority will be given to students with a full terms' payment.
We assume that your child will continue with classes from term to term unless you notify us in writing.

Deposit:

We require a refundable deposit of $500 per child per course. Your deposit will be returned when your child leaves "Mandarin for Munchkins", provided you give 14 days advance notice in writing.

Refund:

We regret that we cannot, under any circumstances, give refunds for classes already paid for.

Accompanying your child:

Each child under 3 yrs old need accompanied by one guardian during the session, our program also requires the guardian's participation.

Playgroup (below 3y children) Clothes and Socks:

Children and guardians need to take off their shoes before entering classroom, please make sure you have socks and comfortable clothes for both.

Enrollment:

Parents should complete and sign the enrolment form by email or mail it to us with the deposit and tuition fee.

Trial Class:

One payable trial class can be arranged for each child on each course.

Make up Classes:

Only full term sign up students can enjoy make up classes, no make up class are available for single visit students.
We must be informed in advance and in writing of classes to be missed so that we can schedule the make-up classes. Missed classes without proper notice will not be made-up later.
A maximum of two make-ups may be made per term, regardless the reason for the make-ups.
Make up class must be taken within the term and can not be carried over to the next term.

Public Holidays:

Mandarin for Munchkins is closed on all public holidays.

Enforced Closures:

We do not hold classes when Black rain or typhoon signal 8 has been raised. We regret that we can not arrange make up class or refund for any enforced closures.

Class Attendance Certificate:

A class attendance certificate can be given by student's request at HK$30 per piece.

Photos and other Media:

We reserve the right to use photos, videos and sound record of children which have been taken in classes for teacher training, curriculum or promotional purpose.

Leaving Mandarin for Munchkins / Cancelling Classes:

We require 14 days' written notice prior to the date your child is leaving, or fees will be charged as usual. Where 14 days' notice is given, your deposit will be refunded.

Disclaimer:

All participants enrolled in classes at "Mandarin for Munchkins" do so at their own risk and the company is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury to students or their guests as a result of participating in these classes.
Yifan Mandarin Ltd reserves the right to expel students who have a negative influence on the successful running of a class.
