Welcome back, everyone!
What a summer we've had at Mandarin for Munchkins! Taking the opportunity of a quieter 2 months -with many students away on holiday - our teachers have been busy preparing fresh, new materials, testing out new class activities and fine tuning our curriculum for the new academic year. Our center also embarked on a thorough summer cleaning. Refreshed and energized, we can't wait to welcome your kids back to class!
With all this going on, our teachers also managed to hold 12 camps over the summer for kids ranging in ages from 2 to 8 years. Kids, teachers and even parents all had a blast. Younger kids were introduced to Mandarin through play and activities, older kids produced a journal and everyone got to go on excursions to Hong Kong History Museum, Hong Kong Coastal Defence Museum, the Fireboat in Quarry bay and our little ones were the center of attention on their Botanical Gardens field trip. See the great photos of our summer camps below.
I hope your summer was as enjoyable as ours. We've got many fun classes this year for your children to choose from, and even a new location at Pokfulam. Please check out our new locations and class schedules.
All of us at Mandarin for Munchkins are excited take our students' Mandarin to the next level this year, and to welcome new students.

SUMMER CAMP: A LOOK BACKThis was met with great success.
The children were very happy to be able to go outside, visit museums and attractions, talk about it after in class while putting their journals together. They also responded well to the cultural activities we introduced, like Chinese calligraphy and painting, performing lion dances, and learning how to use chopsticks!
Younger kids continued to be enthralled by the music and dancing, arts and craft and even had their own field trip to the Botanical Gardens.
So we have decided to continue along this format for our holiday language camps, and fine tune them further to offer more fun to younger kids and greater challenges for the older ones. Our Christmas Camps begin on Dec 20th, schedule will post on website in Oct. |
Yes, we camp!
